OUR REMIX POSTERS
Our posters were designed by me and brand strategist Vera Wu. These work combined the work of all members of our team with the aim of showing a the hope of a city that could emerge from the nightmare of war. The whole process is based on 6 stages: Fear, Confusion, Pain, Struggle, Exploration and Hope.
Poster 1:
The first poster is Fear. The little girl’s weakness and fear in her eyes are contrasted with the arrogance and ambition in the men’s eyes. The soldiers holding up guns are passionate and eager for conflict, which shows that the vulnerable groups are forced to experience the fear brought by war. It is designed by me.
WHAT WERE BE INCLUDED:
The second poster is titled Confusion. Real life has brought people a dark nightmare, and redemption seems to be a distant thing which forces them to walk in confusion like a walking dead. It is designed by me.
WHAT WERE INCLUDED:
The third poster is Pain. The sleepwalker gazes into the mirror. Outside the mirror, they are all human beings with a pulse. Inside the mirror, they are indeed the reflection of zombies, their minds and lives held uncontrollably in the hands of others. It is designed by Vera.
WHAT WERE INCLUDED:
The fourth poster is Struggle. The prolonged dizziness makes it impossible not to start struggling, and the sleepwalkers refuse to endure it and start looking forward to a reorganised world. The blood-soiled grass, the shelled buildings, all traces of the nightmare of war, begin to disintegrate. It is designed by Vera.
WHAT WERE INCLUDED:
The fifth poster is Exploration. Hope brings endless excitement. The consciousness of the sleepwalkers began to wake up. They began to look forward to exploring a wider world and a more peaceful world. They raised their hands and cheered, waiting for peace to come. It is designed by Vera.
WHAT WERE INCLUDED:
The six poster is titled Hope.The awakening after the struggle brings a little energy to the oppressive world. Sleepwalkers hunch their heads down as they begin to look away and upwards, building hope with anticipation. It is designed by Vera.

OUR PUBLISHING MARKETING:
Our brand mainly focuses on publishing products. We have published 4 books of different styles based on a punk poem called Sleepwalk, published by John Cooper Clarke in 1980.
We created a brand account on instagram called “macd_mjwxs” and posted the highlights of these 4 books on our homepage, as well as using instagram as a platform to promote the brand with a dynamic poster.
We also have an official brand website where you can view more details of each work. We hope that our brand will provide a gathering place for fans of poem and punk music(TA) to promote this poetry and inspire them to imagine more of it.
After comparing the two platforms through secondary research, we thought that with similar user profiles, INS with its ability to post videos with hashtags, long videos, photos and brand stories would be more in line with our final format of promoting with dynamic posters.
My Project Report:
Organize meetings is an easy work comparing with others. After confirming the group members, we set up a discussion group and had the first collective meeting. The group meeting is an event that everyone must attend. We first introduced ourselves and got to know each other’s strengths. Then we began to discuss and sort out the work content according to the brief. At the same time, everyone shared their individual works in the discussion group, started to discuss the possible presentation of the work, and made it clear what we needed to accomplish and what technical support we needed. based on these, we confirmed our title and work content assignment. Our meetings are arranged according to everyone’s schedule. When we meet something relevant to all the people, we will choose a collective video meeting, and when we need to discuss some individual parts, we will choose to discuss in the form of text messages in the group. As everyone’s task time is different, I need to know and record the latest progress and the difficulties I may encounter in camera shooting, and keep updating the progress of the project in the group every day.
Making poster is the second part of my work, In this part, I need to show my design ability. Since the poster was jointly completed by me and another team member, I communicated with her in advance to determine the design inspiration and what each piece should be expressed before production. Since everyone posted their works in the group in advance, it was very convenient for me to extract elements. Since the content of our poster is based on the poem and the aim of showing a the hope of a city that could emerge from the nightmare of war, I will start from the poem and expand to the corresponding work piece when making. Every time I finish one posters would post it to the group with my design specification, so everyone could see my work and gave me their feedback on time. When me and Vera finished our work, we made a mockup for our poster to show the final display.
Making the presentation slide is the third stage of my work, I thought it would be a smooth job, but I didn’t expect to meet great resistance. The original plan for this stage was that due to the limited time, I would finish this PPT together with another team member, and she would be responsible for writing all our discussion process since the first meeting minutes, such as our team members, our plans, the final plan and what we need to be completed. But on the second day of the meeting, when I finished my part and wanted to discuss and merge with her work, I found I couldn’t get in touch with her. I reported the emergency to other team members at the first time, and we thought of various ways to contact her, but finally we failed. At first, we decided to wait out of trust for the group member, but after five hours, none of us could contact her. So I made an emergency response. Firstly, I wanted to make sure that she was ok, so I tried to contact my classmates in the same major and ask them to help me confirm her condition. Secondly, I started to write the rest of the PPT. As some parts of the content needed to be confirmed with other team members, we had a text meeting in the group. With their kind help, I finally completed the slide. The missing member finally got in touch with me at 1am (eight hours after she disappeared), she said she had taken the afternoon off for health reasons. I will not judge this member in the report, but as far as I am concerned, if we are working on a project as a team, if his or her own work is not completed but there is an emergency, we should inform the project team in advance, so that the project will not be delayed. This is the responsible behavior. This situation is unpredictable, which exercises my emergency response ability and emergency teamwork ability, which is the most important point I gain in this project.
The presentation is the my last work. I presented our projects in the order of slide and got feedback.
