This was my first time doing PECHAKUCHA presentation, and it was a very interesting experience, even a challenge. PPT with text can help us to complete the speech more easily to a large extent. However, the setting of PECHAKUCHA is not only a challenge for time control, but also a challenge for content memory and structure. The picture below is a my thinking process.

After my PECHAKUCHA, I accepted the teacher’s comments. I feel my strengths in the speech and the places that need to be improved. First of all, in terms of time management, this is a pity. Although I finished the work smoothly within the time limit. In fact, I did not finish all the work I prepared. It should has been spoke much completely, because there are so many things i wanted to express. On the sixth slide, I hit a pause, which made the rest of the day even more stressful. Therefore, I had to cut some of the subsequent contents. When describing my next design plan, I did not complete all of them, so the overall connection was not very good. It also means I did not extract a precise language, so that the tutor did not perfectly understand the direction I chose. This is what I need to improve.
Besides, I’m proud of myself. All in all, I successfully finished a speech without reading the script and to remember every slide I showed, this is quite a challenge I have never tried before. Maybe it was because of the online class, I overcame my nervousness most of the time. It was a very memorable experience for me to express all the points I wanted to make. After the speech, I plan to carry out the following research according to my research. In the presentation, I identified my project theme, and then I needed to do a PACT analysis based on my needs, which would require more data to support my ideas.
